Above are Zygo interferometry data
sets for two 6" minor axis Dream ellipses. |
|
The maximum P-V error
across the second mirror is just over 44 nanometers, with a RMS
of less than 6 nanometers. But this is by no means the limit
of quality that can be achieved on a Dream mirror. See
this convex, hyperboloidal mirror for example. |
|
Neither of these Dream
mirrors show any correlation of the rib pattern to the intereferometry
data. To see what print through looks like, click here.
To see an overlay of another mirror on it's interferometry data
map, click here. Dream has been designing,
engineering, supporting (mirror mounts) and using lightweight
mirrors since 2003. |
