Above are Zygo interferometry data sets for two 6" minor axis Dream ellipses.

The maximum P-V error across the second mirror is just over 44 nanometers, with a RMS of less than 6 nanometers. But this is by no means the limit of quality that can be achieved on a Dream mirror. See this convex, hyperboloidal mirror for example.

Neither of these Dream mirrors show any correlation of the rib pattern to the intereferometry data. To see what print through looks like, click here.
